Vision and Purpose

This website exists to provide a glimpse into my world, but even more so, it serves as a dedication to all those who have witnessed suffering in any of its manifestations, who are searching to invoke change, and who have become righteous individuals by journeying into a path of life-long learning. The blood of my ancestors, the tears of my brothers and sisters, and the trials of my life have armed me with a vision that seeks to positively influence international arenas and develop relationships of mutual understanding.

visionAs the world is faced with profound challenges of poverty, war, hunger, hatred, oppression, and humanitarian issues, we must challenge ourselves to comprehend the myriad connections of history, politics, and culture that have brought about these difficulties. Globalization produced many winners, and even more losers. However, effective multilateral responses to these problems have yet to be fully formulated, much less implemented. I feel there is an urgent need to understand cultures other than our own. Isolation is not an option in a time of internationalism. Awareness, dialogue, and acceptance are the antidote to ignorance; they erode and replace prejudices and pre-conceived notions with admiration for different ideas, lifestyles, and cultures — breaking down artificial barriers built between us.

To all my loved ones, friends, lost friends, and those I have yet to encounter — you are my eyes and ears in this world. My vision is dedicated to the ideals of service, support, and growth so as to provide more resources for those less fortunate and uniting broad sections of people. I nomadically revolve around the globe and remain super-adaptive to all cultures, never distancing myself from those that dreamed of a better life. Mohandas K. Gandhi once stated, “You must be the change you wish to see in the world.” This change is at the nucleus of my existence; recognizing that being wrong elevates me to a new level of understanding, that we are not only the source of the problem, but also the foundation of the solution. The solution itself leads us to self-analyze and self-realize, where realizations result in action, and action without expectation yields achievements without action. Achievement is to transform what is, or what will be, so that we may finally understand the value of having values. This isn’t simply an ideology; it’s a way of life.
